New Features
  • Trace Tool - Added a Navigation Mode
    • PlanStudio can now analyse the walls and doors on a plan and automatically generate a navigation mesh (navmesh), enabling faster & better pathfinding capabilities.
Automatically generate navigation mesh on plans.
  • Trace Tool - Wall Mode Improvements
    • The Trace Tool's Wall Mode now detects walls more reliably, including walls with no connections on either end.
  • Wall Tool – Paint Mode Enhancements
    • In addition to setting fire/smoke ratings, you can now change the preset wall type (e.g., Internal, External, Cubicle, etc.) directly in Paint Mode.
    • Use Brush Mode to highlight the walls you want to edit. You can add or remove walls from the selection as needed, then confirm to apply changes to all selected walls at once.
Bulk apply changes to walls using Brush Mode.
  • Publishing Reports
    • A new Reports section is now accessible via the Account Management page.
  • This page displays the number of signs currently published as Draft and Final, broken down by month. It provides an early insight into your upcoming invoice.
  • Plan History
    • Now available to all Partner Admins and Content Admins, the new Plan History feature lets you view and restore previous versions of your floor plans.
    • Accessible via the Settings ⚙️ icon in the Plan Editor, the Plan History menu provides a full list of previously saved versions for the current plan.
    • Each entry displays:
      • The time, date and version number of the save.
      • The name of the user who made the change.
      • A preview of the plan as it appeared at the time.

  • Icon Creation Improvements
    • Icon types are now treated as equivalent regardless of case (e.g., "exit" and "Exit" are no longer treated as different icons).
    • Duplicate icon types. Existing duplicate icon types will now be automatically resolved. They will either be: Renamed to match the icon's name, Removed if redundant, Numbered to distinguish between duplicates.
      • Accounts affected by naming conflicts will have been contacted by Locatrix in advance to assist with resolution. This change does not affect any existing plans.
  • Improved Editor Stability
    • Various backend updates to reduce crashes and improve performance.
  • Security Enhancements

Bugfixes
  • Evacuation Target Nodes Stability
    • Fixed an issue where evac target nodes placed on the navmesh would occasionally disappear.
  • Evacuation Path Routing
    • Resolved a bug causing primary evac paths to incorrectly route through portals.
