Headline features 

A rebuilt training experience 

The training interface has been redesigned. Learners get a new sidebar, a clearer page layout, updated theming and a new-look assessments page, all of it visible the next time they launch their training — nothing needs to be reassigned or rebuilt. 

The result is that less of a learner's attention goes on working out where they are in a package, and more of it on the material itself. The rebuild also makes room for further training improvements we're working on. 

No repeating content across locations 

A new toggle lets learners skip content they have already completed as part of training for a previous location. Staff who work across several sites then cover what is new to that site, rather than sitting through the same material a second time. 

Questions as you go 

Questions can now sit throughout a training package instead of gathering in a single assessment at the end. Place a short quiz after a small section of content and understanding is checked while the material is still fresh. 

Pull and configure 

Adding a campus to PlanSafe now offers a Pull and configure option. Choosing it opens a single menu where you assign the campus its navigations, instead of moving between separate pages to complete setup. 

Fixes and improvements 

• Premises Information tables now sort by date, newest first, by default. 
• Improvements to SCORM reporting. 
• Fixed inconsistent email history appearing in learner accounts in rare cases. 
• The email deactivation link now stands out more clearly. 
• Various performance and security improvements.

Coming soon 

A look at what we've currently got in development coming to a new update soon. 

• Interactive content - new content types for your learners, including scenario-based training, cloze (fill-in-the-blank) tests, ordering puzzles and sentence matching. ‍
• A new learner experience - a rebuilt experience for learners with a new look and a set of new features alongside it. This is the next stage of the interface work in this release. ‍
• A new Documents & Records page - a rebuild of the Documents & Records experience in PlanSafe®.
