Locatrix is proud to announce that we’ve taken home a win at Australia’s premier startup competition – marking a major milestone in our mission to make the world a safer place.
Now in its 15th year, the Australian Technologies Competition received a record-breaking 250 entries across 13 industry categories. From this impressive field, just 37 finalists were selected to pitch their innovations in front of a judging panel and a crowd of 250 guests.
Thanks to the powerful pitch delivered by Chief Executive Officer Scott Jackson and Chief Technology Officer Matthew Henry, Locatrix emerged victorious in its category.
The Emergency Services Platform (ESP), PlanStudio and PlanSafe.
“We’re more than a tech company. We’re a mission-driven business helping to keep people safe. Our platform captures and shares building floor plans that show people where the safety assets are, how to get out safely, and help emergency services know what’s inside.”
-- Matthew Henry, Locatrix CTO
“Looking ahead, Locatrix has a bold vision: by 2035, we aim to help 100 million people stay safe by becoming the global standard in indoor planning and emergency preparedness. We’re already working with over a third of the ASX Top 50 companies – and they’re safer today thanks to Locatrix.”
-- Scott Jackson, Locatrix CEO
Winning this competition is more than a trophy, it’s an opportunity to share our story. If it helps one more organisation choose Locatrix, that means more buildings mapped and more heroes equipped with the tools they need to run toward danger with confidence.
Locatrix works with organisations that manage large building portfolios, as well as the contractors who service them. By digitising and sharing building floor plans through PlanStudio, ESP gives emergency services access to critical information that helps them save lives and reduce risk.
We’re incredibly proud of this recognition and grateful to the judges, organisers, and fellow competitors. This win is a testament to the power of purpose-driven innovation. And we’re just getting started.
