New Features

Added a new feature that allows you to manually configure all evacuation paths per diagram via the new evacuation targets mode.

There are two modes to choose from:

  • Automatic: PlanStudio automatically chooses the primary path and allows you to manually enable/disable secondary paths (existing behaviour).
  • Manual: You can manually set each evac path to be a primary path, secondary path, or disabled, regardless of the distance to a target. You get full control over the evacuation path types, without having to manipulate targets or evacuation path rules. Click on a target's overlay to toggle the path type:

PlanStudio now supports multiple users on the same device.

  • Each user's settings, unsynced plans, and offline data are kept separate.
  • When starting up the new version for the first time, PlanStudio will perform a data migration in the background. In the majority of cases this process will be smooth, however, please contact Locatrix if you encounter any issues.

Extended image importing/exporting support.

  • A new setting "Export Snapshot" has been added to the plan editor settings menu.
  • Take a snapshot of your current view and export it as SVG, JPEG, or TIFF format, with the option to georeference the JPEG and TIFF images.
  • PlanStudio now supports importing georeferenced TIFF files.

Identified zones can now be ordered.

  • Note that the display order of sortable items in the browser panel has been inverted as part of this change: the top item of the list will now correspond to the top-most component in the plan.

Notes now parse urls and display them as clickable links underneath the note.

While editing plans, unassigned icons can now be hidden via a new setting in the preferences menu.

Other Features

  • Added a new data field type for URLs.
  • Enhanced performance when manipulating fixtures.
  • Improved backup reliability of large plans in case PlanStudio comes across an unknown error while syncing.
  • Improved accuracy of the text hitboxes in the diagram override editor.
  • Improved stability of PlanStudio.
  • Improved accuracy of the status indicator.
  • Improved security.

  • Fixed a crash when typing ".core" into the icon search box.
  • Fixed a crash when resizing the window while in the Adjust Satellite view.
