PlanStudio Update - V4486

Updated: a day ago

What's new in the latest version of PlanStudio!

PK-1726 Added an option to only show visible items on the legend.

There is a new option allowing users to have more control over which Icons are displayed on a signs Icon Legend, When in the ‘Evacuation Sign Preview’

Under the ‘Sign Properties’ Tool

There is a new option for ‘Legend Icons’ where you can choose to ‘Show All Icons’ that appear on the floorplan (provided they are turned on in your Icon filter), regardless of whether they are visible on the sign current or not (Current default behaviour),

OR

You can choose to ‘Show Visible Icons Only’ Which will remove any icons not visible on the Signs floorplan space, from the legend. This is useful for cleaning up the legend on large floorplans that might need to be cropped into sections, where there may be many icons in the legend that are not visible across all the signs.

Making the legend specific to only what is visible on the current sign.

PK-1738 You can now add a location to campuses.

This is used as the default position when setting campus locations on plans.

When creating a new campus, PlanStudio now lets you add the location of the Campus, making this location your default starting point to make the process of geotagging all your buildings easier.

To use this feature click on the ‘Locate Campus’ Button over the Map.

You will then be taken to a satellite view, where you can search for the address of your Campus or move the target on the screen to include the area you want to focus on, this removes the need to use longitude and latitude to locate campuses without a street address.

The Campus location will now be displayed in your ‘Campus’ Page and if used, the address you searched for will now automatically populate the campus Address & Postcode.

PK-1693 You can now change the background colour when editing Diagram templates.

There is a new option under the ‘Design’ Tab that allows you to set the background colour for the whole template. This removes the need to draw a coloured rectangle or place background images down to add colour to the background.

You have the option to enter a Hex or RGB Values, Use the slider to pick a colour or type in the name of the colour you want. By default, it is set to ‘transparent’.

PK-1540 You can now marquee select items in the template editor.

When in the ‘Design’ tab of the Template Editor, you can now click and drag to select multiple objects on your Template.

Once selected you have the option to move them as a group or to Cut, Copy and Delete the entire selection.

PK-1725 Added a Grid Layout option to legends.

When setting up your Icon legend for a Diagram Template there is a new

‘Layout Mode'

The Grid Layout option sets all the Icons to align in a grid rather than spacing out evenly to fill the legend.

PK-732 Now showing fixture names in the side bar.

When you select a fixture on your floorplan, the Name of the fixture is now dispayed in the Properties menu for that object.

PK-1726 Added core icon support to icon filters.

The Core icons, such as Assembly areas, Evacuation paths, Exit signs and Fire & Smoke doors are now configurable in the Icon Filters menu.

This means you now have the option to turn these on and off for different Sign types in the ‘WHITELIST’ Tab

You also can now Change the Order that these icons appear in your signs Icon legend by Dragging them into the desired order in the ‘ORDER’ Tab
