Locatrix to present at Dow Jones Wireless Innovations Event |
| Apr 17 2007 |
Locatrix Communications has been selected to present at the Dow Jones Venturewire Wireless Innovations 2007 conference. Locatrix Founder & CEO Mark White will showcase the company's achievements - including recent partnerships with mobile operators including Telstra - in front of a select audience of senior executives from companies including Nokia, T-Mobile, Intel, Openwave, TeleAtlas and Qualcomm, as well as a number of venture capitalists. The conference will be held from April 25-26 at the San Franscisco Bay Sofitel Hotel in Redwood City, CA.
Presenting companies at last year's Wireless Innovations conference es went on to raise over $215M in venture capital from more than 40 different firms. Mr White says that the event is a further opportunity to promote Locatrix internationally, following their nomination in February as a finalist in the Mobile Monday Global Peer Awards, held in conjunction with the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.
"The success of our location-based and social networking applications with Telstra and others is raising our visibility internationally," says White. "We're thrilled to be participating in Wireless Innovations 2007".
