Mark White is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Locatrix Communications, and has more than 15 years experience in the information technology and telecommunications industries across Australia, South Asia, Korea, Greater China, India, Europe and the United States. His career has included internationally focused management, technical and marketing roles with US companies including Bell Atlantic, Tandem Computers, Compaq Computer Corporation and Red Hat, for whom he founded and grew international operations as Vice-President and Managing Director, Asia-Pacific.
Mark has an aptitude for accelerating early-stage technology ventures and has been an advisor and key commercialization driver for a number of research institutions and innovative companies, including the CRC for Enterprise Distributed Systems Technology (DSTC), Mantara Software and HCV Wireless. His insider views on the mobile communications sector are well-regarded, and he is a frequent speaker at industry events including the Dow Jones Wireless Innovations conference, the Mobile Entertainment Forum's MEF Live!, and the Mobile World Congress (formerly 3GSM World Congress).
Mark has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Queensland and postgraduate qualifications in International Management from the Queensland University of Technology.
Andrew Eross joined Locatrix in October 2007, and leads the company's software and product engineering efforts. In 2001 Andrew co-founded Chasma Inc., a US-based developer of mobile games. As an early participant in Qualcomm's BREW Developer Program, Chasma was one of the first companies to deploy multiplayer mobile games on US mobile networks, most notably Sprint and Verizon. From 2005 he worked with Kayak Interactive as a mobile applications consultant, before moving to Australia to study.
Andrew has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Queensland.
Rick Anstey (Chairman) is a founder and Director of Timsco Pty Ltd and has over 30 years' experience in the Information & Communications Technology industry, including 20 years of building and running his own companies. Rick has been engaged in economic development activities in the Gold Coast region, working closely with the Gold Coast City Council, the Queensland Government and the Federal Government to successfully attract corporate investment into the area and to develop the region's economic base. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
Supporting the board of Directors is an independent Advisory Board whose members bring executive experience with companies like Tandem, ADC and Qualcomm to the strategic initiatives of Locatrix.
